Section 42
Special arrangement regarding purchase of ration
(1) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this Act, the public body shall follow the prescribed procedures in the following matters while purchasing rations:-
(a) Cost estimate and approval thereof,
(b) Price increase,
(c) Eligibility of Bidders,
(d) Bid Security,
(e) filing of bids, and
(f) Other matters as specified.
(2) Other procedures except those mentioned in sub-section (1) shall be as provided in this Act.
